Elections for Statewide Consumer Council (SCC) representatives are held yearly in October at your local council meeting. Elections notices are posted in late August on the CCSM website, Facebook Page and announced at local council meetings.
Anyone interested in becoming an SCC Representative should read the SCC Representative Responsibilities document below and then complete and return our Elected Representative Application.
Please read the responsibilities document carefully and thoroughly prior to deciding to run for an elected position. If you have any questions, please talk with the elected SCC Rep for your local council or contact the CCSM office at 1-877-207-5073.
All applications are due 7 calendar days before the stated election date on each announcement. It is the candidate’s responsibility to make sure the CCSM office receives the completed application by the due date.
