By July 2024, Maine DHHS aims to establish the Certified Community Behavioral
Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, which defines certification processes,
reimbursement systems, and included services to support the development of a
behavioral health system designed to meet community needs, emphasize
outcomes monitoring and accountability, and provide comprehensive
coordinated care to any person regardless of diagnosis or ability to pay.
