CCSM Quarterly Newsletter – Winter 2026 Edition

Newsletter banner.

Hello everyone and welcome to our winter newsletter! We hope everyone has enjoyed the holiday season and is doing well.

Office changes are well underway on Capitol St. We will be moving our office to a smaller one room space in the same building. This is a cost savings measure that we really needed to implement. What does this mean for all of you? Hopefully not a lot of your experience with our organization will be impacted. Staff will be remote except when they need to use the office space or our staff meetings, for example. This is why we have really asked that you call staff’s cell phone’s directly to save an extra step. Our mailing address will remain the same. Our office phone number will remain the same. For those that access the office space for now we still are using the same door but eventually we will be using the shared entrance by the front of the building (the door next to the mailboxes) and we will have a doorbell (with a note to indicate it), since the door is locked. It is important to note that staff will not be in the office on a regular basis. We ask if you need to stop by that you call at least the day before.  We are happy to have a team member meet you if it is coordinated in advance.  If you have questions about any of this please give us a call, we are here to help!

Our fundraising page is active on our website, and you can support us by buying our new calendar, it is fabulous and other great merch is there and more coming!

In other areas we are gearing up for the new legislative season. See Kerri’s update below. Podcasts and blogs continue to be a powerful voice as well. We are actively working on other policy areas so if you have time to get involved, we would really love it! We need our collective voices now more than ever and we would love to hear what is happening in your communities.

And I will leave you with a save the date for one of our favorite days of the year, which this year’s HOPE conference is going to be May 13th at the Augusta Civic Center.

Take care and enjoy the New Year!
