Urgent Grievances Training to be Offered on 4/9/2020

The Consumer Council System of Maine, in partnership with Disability Rights Maine, is hosting a training to help you learn the best way to protect your rights during a time of national emergency.

This training is specific to mental health services. The best way to protect your rights is to understand what rights you do have and what to do if you feel they are violated. During a time of national emergency, there is a process for urgent grievances that does not follow the regular process. On this webinar, mental health attorneys from Disability Rights Maine and CCSM staff will:

  • Teach you what an urgent grievance is
  • Show you what to do if you need to use this process
  • Help you understand the process of what to do, using examples
