Candidates MUST attend the SCC council meeting in which they are running.
At the conclusion of all statements and questions, attendees who identify as having lived mental health experience will take a vote by ballot. This option can be selected if you feel the candidate(s) are not qualified for the position. The candidates with the highest number of votes will be deemed selected to the Statewide Consumer Council or as an At-large Representative and will take office immediately.
The CCSM has the discretion to enact any additional procedures necessary to conduct the selection process, so long as they do not conflict with the CCSM Governance Guidelines or any other law.
