Concept Draft: Co-occurring Capable Peer Workforce

ISSUE:

As Maine returns to being co-occurring capable, which is required for Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs), we would like to highlight the need for both Intentional Peer Support Specialists and Recovery Coaches to have opportunities for training to be co-occurring capable. All CCBHC team members are also required to be co-occurring capable, so we believe IPSS and Recovery Coaches should be as well.
