No Public Hearing on LD 1822 “An Act to Protect Access to Services for Adults with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness“.
The CCSM has received word on LD 1822: “An Act to Protect Access to Services for Adults with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness”. The Health and Human Services Committee went into a quick work session on Monday and immediately voted to carry this bill into the next session (fall 2019) so a public hearing will NOT be scheduled this month. We will work next session to bring a robust consumer voice to the discussion of this important topic.
